Ingredients

1-2 lbs. Chicken Wings (Separated)

3-4 Honey Crisp Apples (Skinned and Diced)

1/2 Cup Water

½ Cup Hennesy

4 Tbs Brown Swerve or to Taste

3 Tbs I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Olive Oil or your choice of butter

1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar

2 Tbs Cajun Seasoning

1 Tbs Smoked Paprika

½ Tbs Garlic Powder

½ Tbs Onion Powder

1 Tsp White Pepper

1 Tsp Cinnamon

1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

Salt to Taste

Instructions:

1. Season chicken wings with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, white pepper, and set aside. For this recipe I used an air fryer. Each side was cooked on 400F for 20 minutes. When dealing with an air fryer cook until desired crisp is achieved. Soggy chicken wings should not be coming out of your air fryer lol

2.  In a saucepan, bring water to boil and drop in your sliced apples, cinnamon, brown swerve, cayenne pepper, salt, and apple cider. Lower the heat and cover the pot. Allow everything to simmer for a good 20-30 minutes. As a side note you can use any type of apple, but I prefer to stick with the sweetest. If Honeycrisp apples aren’t available look for Gala, Fuji, or Ambrosia apples.

3.  Once apples are tender, add butter and use a food processor or fork to mash all the apples until desired consistency is reached. Return your sauce mix to a medium high temperature and pour in Hennesy, if the pot begins to smoke DON’T TRIP its just the alcohol burning out. Stir occasionally for 6-8 minutes until the sauce is well mixed.

4.  Toss wings in Sauce and serve with a side salad. Enjoy
